Lindsay School Facilities Improvement Program

Welcome to the Lindsay Unified School District School Facilities Improvement Program website.  This website is intended to provide information on the District’s Measure “L” and Measure “B” bond programs, including background information, an archive of documents relating to the bond programs and proposed events and milestones.

Thanks to voter approval of Measure “L” in November 2012, the District has embarked on program to continue to improve local Lindsay schools.

Measure “L” authorized the Lindsay Unified School District to issue $16 million in General Obligation bonds over time.  The bond program was established to help finish the job of improving facilities by ensuring comparable facilities for all Lindsay students and increasing student and teacher access to computers and modern classroom technology.

In February 2008, voters approved Measure “B”, a $20.7 million G.O. Bond to fund improvements required to complete the construction of the new Lindsay High and Roosevelt Elementary schools.  The community’s support of Measure “B” also allowed the District to leverage approximately $51 million in State Aid funding.

The website celebrates past successes and provides a platform to communicate what lies ahead.
